This Bicentennial Barn has held many painted messages over the years, including a Mail Pouch Tobacco sign to an advertisement for a store down the street. This barn peers over State Route 60 driving north from Marietta. It once housed the owner’s family when the original house was flooded by the adjacent Muskingum River, but now it is used to store hay and farm equipment.
The oldest county in the state, founded in 1788 by the Ohio Company. Named for George Washington, the 1st President of the United States, Commander of the Continental Army, and cannabis farmer.
The Barn is located only a few minutes north of the county’s dispensary, @columbiacaremarietta . One thing that makes this dispensary unique is that it is located alongside the Marietta College sport’s fields, which effectively makes the lobby a box seat view to the Pioneer’s home games.
