This Bicentennial Barn was built in the early 1800’s and was once a gun club. The barn’s wooden exterior was fortified with metal siding since its Bicentennial logo painting in 1999, now leaving the barn without its commemorative Ohio birthday masterpiece (photoshopped back on!).
Reminiscent of the province of Lorraine in France to early settlers led to the county’s naming. Lorain is dubbed the “International City” for being home to over 70 nationalities, and “Steel City” because of its well known steel mill.
