On this special Veterans Day, we visit the county home to Civil War General and 20th President of the United States, James A. Garfield. Along the Southern shore of Lake Erie, President Garfield conducted his successful 1880 front porch campaign for President at his Mentor farm.
In Mentor, located 9 minutes west of @bloom.medicinals.ohio Painesville, this Bicentennial Barn resides, now engulfed by residential homes and subdivisions.
